About Us

The Backing Band is a group of Santa Barbara musicians who bring live band karaoke to the Central Coast. We have nearly 200 songs, a full band and hosts who make first-timers feel like headliners. We play everything from winery events in Santa Ynez to corporate parties in downtown Santa Barbara.

Our Mission

We want to put your guests in the spotlight. Whether it's a CEO belting out a rock anthem, a bride singing with her best friends or a guest checking a song off their bucket list, we're there to give everyone a moment they'll be talking about long after the last note.
